Anyone fitte an M7 Tuning Scoop to their S

Any body on here fitted an M7 Tuning scoop with the big lip on it, i'm thinking about going for one as i can see the need to increase the size of the scoop plus they also look quite good too.

So anyone got a pic of it on their car etc or are there any alternatives, I don't like the ones which are just stuck on to the original scoop either.

Pic of the M7 scoop fitted - simple to fit too - M7 supply in undercoat gelcover so you will need to get this sprayed to match your own body colour. 8)

I had one in black; made the front end look too 'beaky' for my liking so sold it. Much prefer the real JCW carbon scoop Ihave now, and at half the price of a painted 7 one

Cheers,

Henry

Have to say that the M7 Extreme scoop is the ugliest of all the scoops IMO.

The BBR Venturi or replicas are probably the next one down but defo work (what I have). See pictures in my gallery and somoene is selling one in the clasifieds section.

The pretiest but no doubt the least effective is the other M7 one, the M7 Ram Scoop. Best pictures of this I think are found on NAM.

I also have the BBR Venturi which I'd describe as 'functional' looking.

It certainly seems to make a difference in terms of IC cool down according to my Scangauge IAT readings.

Venturi looks stuck on though....I am waiting for my M7 ultimate scoop to arrive. Hopefully Cooper-Si will have it this week to send to me! Personally if you want horrid then check out the palo uber scoop! The M7 is a prettier version of the same idea...Probably look OK and might do soemthing for catching more air into the engine/IC

Plus I don't like the idea of CF. Personally I find it a bit too Halfords, which is a pity as if its real its the muts....but there is too much fake stuff now that i dare not put it on my car as people will think its fake

To be honest the one piece version of the BBR one that was being devloped would of been nice, rather than the the Stuck on bit that it is. Not sure yet if that one has died a death or not now though.

It would be better than the stuck on one. I know its real carbon fibre and that it does work...but to the average passerby they see it and straight away thing its something from halford and belongs on a saxo .... it was the sole reason for choosing the m7 one in my case. Shame as the BBR is probably much better/lighter

Definitly, I hadn't seen it when I posted.

Most funtional looking is defo the BBR one, but then its the 3rd ugliest LOL, 2nd best looking though LOL. Intend to get the M7 Ram some point this year. Or paint the BBR one to get rid of the terrible fake carbon fibre effect.
