Does anyone know what is going on with the supply of the chrome Cooper S petrol caps?

I have all of the other parts and they are fitted, but my dealer is still waiting for the chrome part. He has emailed BMW but had no reply yet..

Anyone else had this problem? I dropped by the showroom today and there was a Cooper S outside with no Chrome cap attached

Also, my friendly parts dept have suggested the delay could be due to BMW becoming more protective over S parts. He said they don't like people ordering M power parts for non 'M' BMWs and they're starting to be the same with 'S' stuff.

Get your orders in while you can!

I had the same problem, I had the hinge and the painted ring delivered 4 weeks ago, but last friday my dealer called me that the cap had arrived. I picked it up saterday and it looks great.

so call your dealer BMW is starting to deliver the cap
