Hello!

I've been trying to get hold of an aerosol that sprays Aspen White paint (color code 899).

I tried Halfords, because they've got paints by manufacturer, and they offer a mix service. Unfortuntely, they didn't have any MINI colours listed under "MINI" or "BMW", and they also didn't have any MINI colours or an Aspen White on their computer, and didn't understand the code "899".

What's that all about then, is it just my local Halfords?
Any other good sources?

(Tried the dealer nearest to me, and they only do touch-up sticks. Never been in a "Premier" BMW dealership before, and they really sucked in fact...)

My local paint supplier will supply any colour paint in cans - these are professional cans too - and far superior to the standard cans you buy in Halfords. They have a much wider and more even spray - more like a real spray gun.

Obviously these are mixed to order and are therefore larger and more expensive. 1 large can is about £20 (although I got mine at mates rates as the guy also runs Bristol MINI day) and is enough to spray a whole panel.

Try your local auto paint supplier but if you get stuck feel free to get back to me and I can put you in contact.
