at this point i hadnt quite got round to wiring the angel eye sidelight part in cause its a pain in the neck and you have to rewire everything. but this is what they look like with the main headlight anyway

made well but you'll see when you install them that the fit isnt that great. there's a slight gap at the bottom. I have the whole thing wired up now so there is 3 sets of sidelights in total but it all works well but the angel eye bit itself is not that bright unless quite dark and it also isnt the usual blue colour.

well basically in the halo headlights there are four different parts. low dip, high beam, angel eyesidelight and standard sidelight. As you all no mini sidelights are in the front bumper so obviously you need to make sure you have someway to connect all 3 sidlights together so they all work simaltainisly (sorry i cant spell). the two headlights were easy enough to install just a quick plug in to the main loom although if you look at your current loom there is four cables at the top end and another 4 at the bottom (i think its that anyway) but in the halo headlight loom there is only four at the bottom so this had me puzzled for a few moments but i then realised the reason the halo loom dosnt have the four at the top is because they are you leveling controls. (mini headlights were electric the halo are manula. you must level them by turning a screw) so you just plug the 2 looms together and that works fine. The sidelights were the trickier bit, not just becuase of the wiring but becuase as youv probably already realised this means your going to have to run cables front your front bumper to the headlights and its going to look like a mess. i cable tied everything together and tidied it up abit but im going rewire in the near future so that it dosnt look as bad. i have never done anything like this before so i was pleased with my first go. i am the sort of person who had trouble trying to find out how to screw the headlights out of the bonnet so the wiring was completly unkown to me. I went down to my local parts supplier and got some wee cable connecters (obviously for anyone reading this please remember to buy waterproof ones as the young guy in the shop nearly handed me normal connecters) i then just used the cable connecters to connect all three of the sidelight cables to the origonal sidelight cable in the bumper (which by the way you wil have to cut). i was very worried about cutting the origonal mini wires but everything worked out alright so dont be afraid to cut away because everything can allways be connected again with some cable and connecters as i found out. There are some pics below sorry that it dosnt look to great but it will give you the general idea what yours may look like. hope this helps someone out anyway

the halo wires are tapped into the sidelights as are the sidelight in the halo headlights. so in total there are sets of sidelights all tapped into the origonal sidelight feed. The headlights are just plugged into the origonal loom

Mine have arrived too. I too have not got both angel eyes wired up but they look great. I connected one side because i only got 2 scotch block connectors with the products.

Ive just a few problems.

1. headlights now need to be re-aligned if to pass MOT because mine are all over the place and i cant work out how to change them,
2. There is a hole where "position lamp" is suppose to be but i dont know where this part is on the mini.

When i lit up the angel eye, the light is pretty poor as its not bright and not the same colour as the HALO side lights and are more of a yellow rather than a blue. But overall they do look awesome in both day and night.

Mine too are the Black versions because again my car is black.

Here is a few pics.

there is a thread on the forum about changing the colour of the halo sidelights,so you could make them match quite easy
