Very difficult I would say!

I have a R56 Cooper one at home which was replaced with a S one,
trouble is first gen cars - top of bootlid was metal, and an integral part of boot, new car this is either a plastic panel, a Cooper spoiler or an S spoiler.

You could prob remove an S spoiler from the base and try to fit it on its own, but if the screws dont match-up to the holes in the bootlid the yer bu88ered!
