Hi everyone! My name's Jared and I just joined here because I am planning on ordering a Mini Cooper S in december for my sixteenth birthday in February. Recently i saw a new mini for sale at a dealership that had body colored bumpers and I was wondering how they got this option as its not listed on the website. I've also heard its a sin to do this to a mini cooper because it ruins what the mini is about , but to anyone whos seen one like this in person, can you tell me if it looks good?

What I have in mind is like this; 2007 Mini Cooper S, pepper white, checkered roof, black hood stripes, redwood leather cabin, checkered dashboard, checkered door handles, checkered rear mirror, and the rally lights. I havent been around Mini coopers very much other than a trip to the dealership last week, so to all of you Mini fanatics, does this combo sound like a winner? I always loved the white Mini cooper in The Italian Job and said if i ever got one, it would be like that. Also I havent seen the checkered roof in person, is it too much or does it look as good as i think it will? Thanks to anyone who can help, I'm building one now so when december rolls around ill be absolutely sure everything looks great and its exactly how I want it.

Most dealers or good body shops can colour code your trim for you, prices vary. It's not an official option, and can look really good.
