Well Phil is not actually doing the Italian job but his excellent work is.

A big thank you to Mini Pirate who has created and fitted my decals for the Italian Job Charity run in aid of the children's charity NCH.

I particularly like the Union Jack and Italian Flags on the A panels. They took a fair bit of creative work from Phil and lots of debate if they were right on each side of the car. The end result is stunning, they have attracted a lot of attention here in the UK and I imagine that they will get even more attention in Italy.

My sponsors are extremely happy with the end result.

Follow us on MINI 2 - I depart for Italy on Monday 15th, Jan is flying down on Thursday night and the IJ event starts in Venice on 26th with the finish on Brighton Sea front at 1530 on Saturday 3rd November. Why not come down and see us return to Blighty.

We need to give next year some serious thought as we will actually be living in Italy from circa Easter next year. Actually it could give us the opportunity to have a few days on MIN2 runs before the event starts

You can be sure that there will be lots of pictures and posts, what with Chris & Jax on the blog phone and others of us on MINI 2 there will be lots of updates

yes the job is based in Modena and we need to decide if we will live in the centre of Modena or move out a little into one of the villages. We will spend next weekend exploring the area.

Looking good Alan. Phil is busy printing up my decals today, with the whole lot being fitted next week. Have always tried to keep my car a plain and simple as possible so the decaled up 'race' look will be a bit of a shock.

Yep have to agree Phil's done another excellent job!

As for me I've got to undo all his good work, remove last years door graphics and fit this years!

They have changed since we ordered the first set earlier in the year!

Well I have had a busy day, car cleaned bags packed and final decals fitted.
