| MINI2 Regular | Colour Coding Aerokit Have HB with aero kit and wanting to colour code arches but also aero kit ie front and rear bumps and side skirts. Because the aero kit only needs the black plastic look part coding what is the best process to do this?? How have you guys who have colour coded had this done. I imagine the body shop just blend the colour in with rest of bumper/skirt then apply a full coat of laquer. Help and advice much appreciated in advance. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Interestingly, the place that did mine refused to paint an existing panel as they said that the black bits usually get contaminated with silicone at some point and it's impossible to guarantee that the paint adhere permanently Worth bearing that in mind....![]() May 08: Thanks to all of my friends on Mini2 for a lot of great times over the last 4 years. In future I can always be contacted here! |

| MINI2 Newbie | Another Aero Kit Question Hi been looking at advice on fitting aero sills - some great on fo on here - looks pretty easy - if you have the right stuff. However, I was lucky enough to get these sills for a steal from ebay but being second hand they do not have the fitting kits/mountings. Do I need them or will they be on my MCS ones? I have the clip part nos so that should be no probs - I say Andy PS sorry do not yet know how to start a new post. |

| Captain Slow | There are some instructions for fitting Cooper S Side skirts, but fitting the Aero Skirts shouldnt be too different, if not the same. http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...faq_sideskirts ![]() |

| Cooper Reborn | You will need to get some new clip from the stealers, your old ones will snap off as you remove it. they are quite cheep and normally in stock. There is also a thread about closing the gap on the near side, I'll see if I can find it for you. Found it. http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/...rrect-gap.html ![]() Life is not about the amount of breath's you take.............. It’s about the moments that take your breath away……… |
