Front 501 LEDs legal, this site hints so??

I have seen a few places with similar text to the following site, which seems to hint that clear led lights are road legal, or vague deception?!

your thoughts?

sorry the following link is not deliberate spam, dont punish me

Got pulled over last week and given a £30 fine for having blue sidelight bulbs. 1 minute after getting my 1st fine, i was stopped by another police car for the same thing. Now going to look for some LED sidelight bulbs that are legal (to match the xenons) anyone recommend some?

Blue leds are illegal as they are considered to be impersonating a police vehicle

which makes me wonder how the hell all the lorries can have em

as long as the LEDS match the correct settting ie red at rear and white at front then you should be ok

any other colour sometimes i find is up to the policeman

If you search on Ebay for Extreme white LED's there are a few on there, mine look blue even though only 1 of the led's is blue, the 5 that surround it are white, touch wood I have not been pulled yet, but they are a good match with my 6000k Xenon bulbs

501 10mm Wedge bulbs - by Ultra Leds U.K

ultraleds (link above) is where i used to always shop for LEDs but recently i have kitted out my MINI with all interior & exterior bulbs from this guy on ebay; cheaper and the bulbs (so far) are just as good
