Hi all,

Just scratched my driver side black plastic arch on a cement corner. It's not as noticeable right now because my car is dirty but I know once it's clean, it will be very noticeable. What can I do to make is pretty again? (without spending $150 on the arch at the dealers)

I was thinking of sanding off excess plastic stringys with a sand paper and applying some black touch up paint. hmm?

The wheel arch trim pieces are less than 15 USD each

Yea, so that would be $150 up here in Canada

how much is it really in Canada? I had to get the black plastic cover on each side of the windshield the other day and it was $70 dollars each. I think the black arch is bigger than the plastic cover on the sides of the windshield so should cost more no?

A Column Cover (pn 51137128157) lists for 56.48 USD but is available for 45.50 USD.

The Front Wheel Arch Cover pieces (pn 51131505865 and 51131505867) list for 19.98 USD and 20.57 USD but are available for 14.25 USD and 14.50 USD.

Dealers in my area charge over list price for parts. If time isn't an issue it's cheaper to buy from a vendor who sells discounted parts and have them shipped.

In the UK I think they are less than £20 each, and we pay more for everything here!
