Wing mirror housing loose

The passenger side wing mirror housing (i.e. the whole unit) is loose and moves back and forth when accelerating/braking. Do I need to remove the door trim inside the car to tighten the bolts?

Cheers

Nope. your mirro pivots and when you pivot it there are allen key bolts under there. if its the stumpy part thats loose just tighten these bolts if its the pivoting part thats loose then take off the whole mirror and adfust the bolt that connects the two parts.

I hope that makes sence?

Its the pivoting part, I think will run out and check. Are there any instructions online for the removal?

Its easy to remove, just undo the screws that hold the stump to the body, not sure exactly how to tighten the connection between the mirror and the stump will see if I can find anything
