Looking at doing something with my 'S' grill.

i have a CR/B with carbon scoop and solid black stripes

ideally i have wanted the Aero conversion kit from Lohen but I'm quite tempted to keep the chrome around the outside and go for the MINI ONE look with black slats?

What do you reckon should i paint the red slats black keeping the chrome or go for the Aero?

Damo, that looks great only question is will you explain the process?

Im really at a loss, is the chrome sprayed?

hello tyrerc, are you going to top gear run?/
If so, i have a black grill with chrome both top and bottom parts that you can have, not really worth much, and i could do with the space lol.

they off my mini ONE, i replaced it with a chrome grill which i prefer, but im all silver, whereas ur half black so to speak so black grill would suit.

Its Sprayed Matt Black. I used Plasticote BBQ Spray Paint from do-it-all. I did it to get an idea of what it looked like. Put it on the car and decided to keep it on. Needs re-doing professionally now though but waiting to closer to summer.

specky001 - not planned to, hadn't thought about it if Im honest. Is the grill pre or post face lift?

pre facelift, off an 52 plate one, has four slats in top rather than 3
