Offline | JCW Badge Hey, this is my first post, hello! I bought A Cooper S Works two weeks ago and recently a JCW badge from ebay for the front. I recieved it this morning and it does not fit the front grill because of the honeycomb grill, the studs are too far apart, as anyone had the same problem? if so what did you do? I was thinking removing the studs on the badge and put a new backing plate on the back with the studs closer together? |

Offline | just cut one piller, add big washer use existing strap and fix with silicon, should be fine, if you let excess silicon mould around mesh it will stay put, dont forget to clean and de-grease 1st ![]() carefree |

![]() Obsessive Car Cleaner OCC | IMO this is one of the things thats the problem with MINI2 at the moment, people jumping in an comenting on things like this that dont need to be mentioned. As you know about the thread regarding badges on a NON works car and i guess thats were these comments are coming from, why does it need to be mentioned hear ![]() dajy has clealy mentioned in the first post that the car is a WORKS car. RVW had a fair point in asking why the badge is not there but then why does it have to go on? this is hapening on countless threads were people think they are right and the topic ends up going of course. Im sorry for the rant but its happend a few times recently and its just annoying me and ive had a stressful day at work. |

| MINI2 Regular | When you say front grill, do you mean bonnet grill or lower grill?? On R53 badge goes to right of the number plate on lower grill. May depend on whether you have aerokit front bumper or standard. On aerokit there is only one hole, you have to drill another. Well I did!! ![]() ![]() |
