how to take badges off

Need to take my gtt badge off my boot. Does it just pull off or is there a nack to getting it off easily.
Last part of the mods to come off now
Car may also be sold by the weekend

Hairdryer (not too close to paintwork) to soften glue, dental floss, and hey presto! You may have some glue residue that may require some solvent type remover.

Lies need defending all the time. The truth defends itself.

i did it on my friends car.

As said above, hairdryer, and some string or something thin to go down the back of it. Dont heat it up too much and peel it at an angle off to the right. once off, use Mr.Muscle oven cleaner diluted slightly in water to remove it in one sweep. Sounds crazy but it honestly works and then wash the excess off after.

Good luck with it!!!

Pour warm water over it as well to soften the glue.

i boil the kettle pour down back of the badge to melt the glue then just flick off with a rubber ruler.
then used nail varnish remover to remove excess glue

na......you dont want to do it like that.........what you need is a hammer and a screwdriver and maybe a blind fold!

place the screwdriver to the side of the GTT badge, and give it a good belt the the hammer ( i find that a 2lb lump hammer works best when taking this type of bagde off the car)

this now should take the badge off in one go.........if not tho, i would suggest using the 4lb lump hammer for added weight and maybe getting a mate to hold the screwdriver while you take a run up while wearing the blindfold!

You could use some of the explosive cutting putty. Run it around the badge and it will cut it out of the body work

Personally on my GTT badge I just pulled it off as it wasnt too bad. But really you want to use cotton thread to just cut it off.
