They look alright to me from the front, what about from the side?

would only go that big if out of warrenty, as will be used as excuse by bmw for blocking air flow to radiator if things go wrong under the hood,
otherwise get 4 for full on rally look

They look OK too me, The spot-lamp issue is an odd one as it normally depends on what you have them for, you can get the small ones that look good but no one hardly ever uses them (when they do they can sometimes be of little use and not that good), or you can get the bigger, proper ones, but again they may hardly ever be used, they still look good, some people may think they're a bit big / OTT, but when you need them & if you use them, they actually work as-well as look good.

And yet again a lot is down to personal preference .

Mine's the one on the left.

Did you get stronger struts for the bonnet in that set? .

I guess if the rear wheels are still on the ground then no, they're not TOO big.

I dunno, looking more closely at this picture, you can see the front tyres pressing pretty hard into the ground:

If you squint real hard at the rear tyres, I think you can see a bit of a shadow underneath it...

Aesthetically, they look a touch on the large side to me. But functionally (more important), I bet they're fantastic!

All the best,
Andrew.

I think they look really cool, two up & two down would be twice as cool. Go for the full rally look.Dare to be different and some people criticise, personally i like things that stand out in the crowd and those lamps certainly stand out.

They look OK to me, about the same size as fitted to many classic Mini's..........I have always thought the spots fitted to most MINI's looked too small but assumed modern light technology gave the same performance for less size and interferred less with the aerodynamics?

Thanks for the comments..................I bought them as they were black when switched off - hopefully going to get my Xenons "blackened out inside" then get the chrome rings blackened too.
