Hi everyone,

new to this forum and to Mini ownership. Just bought an '04 JCW Cooper S which makes me smile every time I get in it - long may it continue.

I have a nice shiny set of chrome wing mirror caps (the clip on type, not the stick on) but have no fitting instructions and a brief chat with (the very friendly folk at) Cotswold Mini (who supplied them) left me none the wiser. I popped along to Elms, Cambridge for some advice but all the salesman could offer was to "book it in to the workshop" - all I need is 2 minutes of sound advice!

So, are any of you kind souls able to offer some sound advice on how to unclip the mirror caps without damaging anything? Any help much appreciated,

Thanx for that - for some reason when I search the forums I get any number of returns, none of which seem to be about the subject matter???
