Offline | Genuine BMW Mini touch up paint Hi there, Has anybody here used the BMW mini touch up paint and is it any good? I have a black Mini Cooper that i love to bits and i have tried to keep it in really good condition but i have a few stone chips to the front bumper and bonnet which i would love to iron out. I have deep polished etc but i was wondering what the touch up paint was like? thanks in advance Also i would like to add the chrome side repeaters to my mini but i seen on here that somebody had sprayed there repeaters black would the touch up paint do the same job? |

Offline | I have a black II MCS and the touch up is quite good, only about £7 from the dealer as well which I thought was quite well priced for BMW. It has the lacquer with it in the pack One thing though I don't know how well the paint will stick if you have polished over the chips as the polish goes into the chips and you cannot get it out. Offline | I've got the official Electric Blue touch up paint and it is a close match. No one ever does an exact match for touch up paints. After using blend it with one of the (expensive but worth it) kits you can buy or it leave for a couple of weeks then use a colour polish as they have a mild cutting agent in them. ![]() Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs |
