Chrome cowl vent surrounds

Just got a pair of chrome cowl vent trims courtesy of Simon at MINISPARES.

Fitted them yesterday and am really happy with the way they look, really classy, subtle but enough to make it worth while!!

they basically just fit over the top of the vent and are best attached with silicone. the one side was a perfect fit but the other was slightly out so i decided to remove the vent so i could get some pressure on trim (via masking tape)whilst the silicone went off, easy really and the trim is dead flush!!

i dont know what you guys think, but it would be good to hear your comments!

p.s. sorry if the quallity of the pics are crap!! i took them on a pretty large size, then had to reduce them!!

Hey, Please stop with the 'pollen' name.

Please.

The twin cowl vents (near the wiper arms) have nothing to do with'pollen'. The replaceable 'pollen' filter is actually a real filter inside the HVAC unit.

Rant over.

The chrome bezel does look nice.

I put them on, also. I took them off the car and used a slicone blue ("Goop"). I then clamped chrome trim pieces to the vents and let them set for 24 hours. I then put them back on the car. What a difference!

I do hope someone will make the entire vent chrome. I'll be first in line.

Those chrome Pollen Vent surrounds look cool!

Just Kidding Bruce ;-)

I wonder if the hood vent for the supercharger would look good chromed or not... It would probably make the Cowls stand out more too!

I just bought some aluminium mesh that I will fit into the vents, over the not-pollen filter but under the honeycomb. Those chrome trims would look nice with the other shiny metal I'm thinking.
