Hi- just wondering if any mini owners in Glasgow has had their windows tinted by Pentagon Auto-tint in the Gorbals??

Henry Bros Mini quoted me £250 to have all the windows tinted (bar windscreen of course). I was told they don't actually do it on site but sub-contract it to somebody else...Pentagon.

I reckon £250 is a bit dear, especially after reading past threads on this topic. I also remember my next door neighbour saying he got his done at the same place for £160 on his Vauxhall VX220 and MG ZR for £150.

So is the dealer trying to rip me off??

Hi,

I don't think £250 is unreasonable for tinting your Mini windows because Pentagon do a tremendous job. I had my Pug 205 GTI windows done by them about 5 years ago and also paid £250 after negotiating with them (I only went in for a windscreen sunstrip!). They did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Don't forget you only get what you pay for. Why not go direct to Pentagon yourself?
