Ive got the aero kit on my mini and would like to have it lowered by about 35mm, but im worried about the clearance! I dont want to scrape over every speed bump! Has anyone had their mini lowered and got the aero kit fitted? If so how low is your mini? faced any problems since having it done? anyone got any advice on springs? and could i ask any more questions? Cheers people

Iv Got the aero kit and reciently had my car lowered (25mm) and its pretty much scrapes all the speed bumps all the time!! must aslo be very careful when parking as u can easily park ur front bumper on the kerb , im running H&R Springs , im not up on springs and stuff so allican tell u is that the ride is about as harsh as ull get but the car handles so good and looks awsome.If u get urs lowered by 35 mm u may have lots of problems with scraping but it'll look cool as, do it!

Phat_Mini has his lowered with aerokit... doesn't seem as though it could shave cats-eyes, but he's running on 18's.

The 'flaps' at the bottom should always touch tarmac first so gives a good indication of whether you'll make it over a bump or not

I have the aero kit but it's not lowered, and I scrap alot of the times now. Speed bumps, parking curbs, I've scraped them all. I wouldn't lower mine anymore than it is.
