dints & scrapes

I have a black car now, and would really love a black mini. However due to the way all the scratches & scrapes show im leaning away from another (especially as i use car washes and they are really bad for it).

Has anyone had any experiences of scratching and genearal ware & tear with black, BRG, indi blue or red as these are my choices.

thanks

Regardless of which colour MINI that you eventually choose, my advice is - DON'T USE CAR WASHES that touch your car - they scratch, everytime. Get out there with a bucket and a good sponge (or terry towel, or microfibre, or whatever you all think won't scratch) and wash the car by hand.

It's an easy cleaner, and do the wheels at least once a week as the brake dust builds up quickly, regardless of whether you get white or silver.

A black car is a black car, it's a nightmare to keep looking even acceptable. My daughter's got a black Civic and even after a couple of hours work it only takes a few minutes to destroy the good look. Don't expect a black MINI to do anything different.

Liquid Yellow looks good most of the time.
