Question Auto-adjusting Xenons

Simple question: is it possible to override the automatic height adjustment on the Xenon headlights (in my case on a Cooper S)? I realise that Xenons can dazzle oncoming drivers and therefore they lower as speed increases. However, there are times when I drive on roads when there is no other traffic and I would like to raise them up myself.

simple answer....No

the xenons levelling is contolled by a fore and aft tilt switch to give near perfect alignment vertically.
the xenons are not speed sensitive AFAIK,and the range is not altered as one speeds up, however they are attitude sensitive, i.e if you carry a fat passenger in the back, then the tilt switches recognise this and compenate accordingly by lowering the beam to prevent dazzling.

also if one was to drive up an incline, this woild be interpreted and adjusted as well.

see ya
