Offline | Me again, They are ment to be, the box description is "crystal black" the lens is clear no frosting and the rear section is black so it looks smoked, with the addition of a coloured bulb it flashes perfect orange. I purchased them through "www.directcarparts.co.uk" they are direct replacements all you get is the lens and bulbs for £25. hope this helps....Ian E....... ![]() |

Offline | Re: Side Repeaters!!!! They look sweet *checks wallet* Never had the guts to spray my White repeaters, and the original orange ones sprayed wouldn't look right. Just need Smoked Rear lights to match now then. (not to mention the ally pedals, tinted windows, Cd changer.........bulb upgrade, Aero kit, twin exit exhaust, oops forgot myself )![]() |

Offline | Those smoked repeaters look very nice... purchase imminent. they also have another set of repeaters 'chrome line'. Wonder what those look like? Another thing; it says for cooper 01 onwards... will these fit a ONE? minispares have some clear repeaters that say cooper only if I remember... does anyone know if theres a difference in the shape of repeaters on a ONE and COOPER? Offline | Somebody help me... There was a thread on here somewhere that a fella had taken the smallest Union Jack over Checkered Flag badge and fit them inside the repeaters similarly to the 'S' model's 'S' I loved the idea, bought the badges....and now I can't locate it again to see how it was done! Thanks |

Offline | Here we go.... My Custom Front Grill & Side Grills. Oh and a spoiler! ;) thread The pictures don't the grills justice, oh and I think the explanation of how I did it is on page 2 of the thread. If your planning on doing it to Chrome Grills then I wouldn't know how best to deal with it, but I would be realy intrested in how you got on as I really like the S grills (the chromed version of the Coopers have 2 slats as opposed to the S's 1 slat and the 1 slat looks best IMO) In fact let us know how you get on even if its the normal grills and show pics ![]() |

Offline | http://www.mini2.com/forum/attachmen...&postid=150061 Instructions: [Q]As for the side grills, well bought a tube of special glue (the type where you mix 2 different pastes together) for about £5. Monsta got the Badges for me (£10.50 for both) Thanks monsta. And I cut out a small amount of plastic so the badges could sit in the grills. Then just glued em on. The most expensive thing (except the £235 spoiler of course) was the rear MG badge from MG dealer. That was just over £16!!!! As for the side grills had that idea agggggeeeessss ago! Even before I saw all these Coopers on Mini2 with em! Wanted something different on my side grills other than the usual Chrome and Chrome S grills. Far cheaper and looks ace! Oh And I've patented the idea, and only given one other person permisssion to do it (wink emoticon[/Q] May I request for permission to utilize your Brilliant Idea - Please! |

Offline | No you can't!!!!!!! ![]() Of course you can! I'm hardly going to fly across the atlantic to have words with you even if I didn't want you to do it! Only stipulation is that you do some pictures ![]() (besides don't think MG would be happy if I patented using an MG badge on a BMW Mini's Grill *L*, what with all the bad blood between MG Rover and BMW) Word of advise though, make sure get the badges to sit in the grill rather than on top, they look daft just stuck on, they look much better flush (or almost flush) than stick ing out like a soar thumb, they'll also glue better ![]() Good luck! ![]() |
