Xenon washers during icing conditions

Although winter is almost over in New England, I am curious to know if anyone who uses Xenon lamps have seen any issues or problems with the autowash mechanism after your standard overnight icing/snowfall events? Just as doors can stick, I worry the autowash may stick with potential damage to the motor assembly which operates it..

thanks for any feedback!

I'e had problems with mine not retracting correctly (they dont sit flush after use) but I cant say it was because of the cold.

I got the same problem, but it's not b/c of the cold. It's b/c the water hose kinked.

Well, I have to admit that I have used them a couple of times, when I know the car was iced, up by mistake. So far no damage, but I have been fairly careful about making sure they are cleaned off before I drive anywhere after any serious amount of snow/ice on the car.

I went out of my way to not use then until the lights had melted off the snow etc. Most of the time the windshield washers were blocked with crud frozen on the hood so it wasn't a big issue but i do share your concerns - the headlight washers are pretty flimsy
