Heard from numerous sources (too many to assume a rumour) that you can now choose what colour flakes/fleck you want in your British Racing Green colour e.g. Standard (as supplied), Silver or Bronze... which gives a brighter or 'more colourful' finish...any ideas?

Not heard this one at all.

I'm pretty sure it's not true, but I can find out. Have you asked your dealer?

Dealer said standard colours as supplied from workshop (one colour of BRG no choice), but 'sources' said they could supply literature as proof (same sources gave notice of Gold metallic replacement for Silk Green some time ago. (In this case, may be from specific body shop as opposed to direct from BMW?).

I'll see what I can find. The Gold for Silk Green swap was known several months in advance to us, and I know there's at least one new completely new colour lined up, but I've not heard anything about this.

I'll get back to you if I get anything solid.

Could be nice, a lot of people think BRG needs 'spicing up', however, it's hardly BRG as it is, and these could make it even less so!
