It was mentioned here a couple of weeks back (can't find the thread for the life of me) and has been mentioned on other sites, but nothing but a mention. Does anyone have any further info on the rumor of two new colors being introduced and if so when. The colors mentioned before were Shark Blue and ?something? Orannge matalic.

The Shark Blue and Mettalic Orange colour were revealed on this site by a MINI insider.

He got rumbled, and had to have all posts removed for his own sake.

He also revealed that they were planning to release Electric Blue to Cooper and One owners.

Any idea of the time frame before we see them at the showroom??
Which colors are getting the boot (my geuss would be Pepper White and Cosmos Black-not many people in the market for metalic black)

September '03 I believe. Pepper white was/is going to become an 'S' option too.

I think Velvet Red is doomed.

Whoever he was, from memory he claimed to work in the IT section. But if he has lost his job as a result (hope though that he hasn't), can I have it?

Let's hope that the 'Shark Blue' (or whatever) sees the light of day sooner or later, though Velvet Red isn't too bad I suppose (even if it may not be available for too much longer) and the gold looks better in real life (from the brief glimpse I've had) compared with most photos.

I'm really glad to see a fun colour like orange make an appearance. I'll reserve judgement on the blue until I've seen it (sounds like a nice shade, though).

What we really need is a metallic purple.

Pearlescent Volcano Orange and is factory, quite rare!!

You mean to tell me that Pepper White is going to be available on the MCS? Damn it! Should of waited another 8 months. When I saw the PW/B for the first time it made me switch my order from a IB/W MCS to a PW/B MC. Alright, now I am bitter. Time to kick the cat around (I'm kidding!).

I feel your pain.

My perfect colour combo would be a PW/B Cooper S with black bonnet stripes and the OEM aero grille. Not that I'm complaining about my B/B, of course.
