No Mud Flaps for the S?

Today my car was in for service and I asked the dealership to install the front mudflaps while the car was in. Well, they just called me back and said that the mudflaps won't fit because they're designed for the Cooper, not the S. Is this true?? Thanks!

Whatever.

Gordon, do they make much of a difference with regards to rear spray of the hatch? I'm sick of having a slightly dirty car that doesn't really look dirty until you look at the hatch that's all caked with grime. It's the only car I've owned where the back window always has a wiper hole in the grime, if you get what I mean.

GordonD,
Do you have front & rear mud flaps? Have you got any pics?

I have been told that they fit the S, but not the aero kit.

the front ones really help with the stuff on the side of the car. there's a bunch of threads a few months back about the rear ones and the consensus was they don't help. The ***** onthe back is because of the low pressure area and you just got to live with it.

Ian

I don't have the aerokit so I'm not sure about the fit. I will try get photos of mine this weekend

Here we go. Sorry its not a brilliant pic but its dark outside. You should be able to get the info you require.
The flaps only fit the front. The rear ones don`t fit rear bumper/fender is a different shape to the cooper and one.
