If WInnie the Pooh had a driver's license, I bet he'd drive a MINI.

Glad you like 'em, but they look cheap and don't fit the car IMO.

yellow and purple? that's my school high school color. reminds me of those tacky gym clothes from way back when, so it's not my cup of tea. it sure is unique though.

Unhappy

C'mon guys, give a person a break.

For those who expressed nice things, thank you.

For those who expressed criticism, Didn't your mommies ever teach you that if you can't say something nice, better not to say anything at all?

I have to agree with several people: they don't really add anything to the car. When I see flames, I think of a '30s Ford hot rod or a chopped '49 Mercury, not a MINI. Sorry.

Geoff in Ann Arbor,

Whoa! What brought that on?
Did you expect to not get any negative comments? Don't be so naive.

Being a grownup you should be able to take a little negative criticism without blowing it out of proportion.

Yes, I expect people to be polite by keeping their negative opinions to themselves. And I don't think I blew anything out of proportion.

I see a lot of pics of people's MINIs that I think, wow that looks stupid, or why in the world would they want to do that? But recognizing individual taste, and how people like to express their individaulity with their MINIs I keep my opinions private. It's the courteous thing to do. So for me it's not a question of naivete, it's a matter of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

And for those that responded with apologies, thank you, I appreciate it.

If WInnie the Pooh had a driver's license, I bet he'd drive a MINI.

What do they do? Other than being blue.

At the Moment, to tell the truth, they dont do anything other than Being Blue ... and wheres the harm in That !

When I get a moment to actually wire them up, then they`ll be Supplementary Fog Lights emitting Flat White Beams.
They`re no lower than the bottom lip of the front air Dam & are attatched using the existing Screws.

I don't think anyone showed a lack of tact or courtesy though. The prevailing sentiment was "I don't like them, but it's your choice". It matters of purely cosmetic improvement, you can't expect better than that. If you choose to keep negative opinions to yourself, then it's just that - a choice. But so long as those who respond to you keep a civil tone, I don't see how unfavourable comments are doing you any harm.
