I liked the way these where a little bit oval, mountd with screws from behind.

Nice idea, however, I don't plan to get reflecters for my car, I like the look of no red at all.

That is until I get stopped by a cop.

yeah, I put the front plate in too. I dont like the give the cops a excuse to pull me over. I did use the aero kit mount though, looks much better.

Those look nice. Where are the reflectors from? Are they the reflectors that are actually supposed to be fitted into the bumper? I want to put in the clear tails, but I really don't want the two reflectors in the bumper.

Nope they are not the MINI reflectors. These are from a '03 Oldsmobile Bravada ($16 at the dealer)funny eh? They had screw mounts on the back, but mostly I liked the shape. I think I'll take some more time this weekend and sink them into the plastic grille a bit more. If I ever dont like them I can replace those two small parts. See the lengths I go to keep my MINI and "the man" happy

I don't see it being an issue in the states. More of a DOT manufacturing requirement. I think we're keeping our "law enforcement officials" too busy with other things these days...
Besides, I think the clear reflectors in the clear lenses are more visible.

Your exactly right about that. I think that most of them would have to dig deep to prove that. I just say sit them in your back window on the inside! Just tape them heh.
