Offline | Replace MCS Fuel Cap Seeing people replacing their Cooper fuel cap with the MCS fuel cap I thought I could really individualize my MCS. I never liked the standard MCS fuel cap so I was wondering whether it would be possible to replace it with a standard Mini cap. Gives a more clean look IMO. If possible, where/how can I get it (in DS )? |

Offline | I think it's because it's chrome yhat people like it. I think it would look more finished if it was like the one you get on a TT for example which is flush with the body. Or similar to this one which my mate has fitted to his MX-5. Maybe something like that wouldn't look right on the side though ![]() Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | there is a UK firm (name escapes me right now and I deleated the email as they wouldn't take a credit card or ship to Canada)that has one similar to this. As far as I could ascertain it would have been a bit of work to fit and might include cutting body work - the sales person i corresponed with wasn't too knowledgable or helpfull aka KWKSLVR Member: Southern Ontario MINI Club BMW Club of Canada - Trillium Chapter |

Offline | I bought the Moss one and polished it up using some Autosol. Now it's come out with a more 'chrome' look and is exactly what I was after. Plus, I believe the Hamann one is extremely expensive! MINI Going.....Toyota Supra RZ-S Twin Turbo Coming....Standing Quarter, anyone....? |
