Custom paint job.

I am entertaining the thought of a custom paint job for my new MINI coming in a couple months. What does everyone think about having a Liquid Yellow MINI with large Blue drops along the bonnet and continuing over the wheel arches and flowing back on the sides. See picture for better understanding. Is it possible for someone to photoshop a side view as described? It would certainly help me out.

Here is my try:

And here is another idea for a custom paintjob, like the metal is being torn away.

check out Deano's out of Pheonix. Excellent work but pricey. However, his work is first class show quality. I saw his personal Tahoe awhile back. Just incredible. Be prepared to pay big bucks if you go this route.

Deano's

Then go to the catalog link and then to the cars. He has two Hummers in there that look like the metal is ripping away.

He is very much into motorcycles now, but may be able to find someone in your area.

Ya, i think that(the metal on the hummer) would look great on a MINI but with checkers. But i can't even begin to imagine how much something like that costs. Im guessing BIG money.Maybe a vinyl application would be a cheap yet satisfying solution.

ARitz,

Thanks for the image. I think if I can find the right person in the Detroit Area I will have this done. I also thought of an idea for the white roof. How about a drop of water falling onto the center of the roof sending out a ripple effect out to the sides?

ANOTHER Option - print digitally what you want and it's removable. 9/10ths of what you see on vehicles is a digital print applied to a vehicle. We've done things as simple as Ladybugs for VW, Psychadelic Flowers for MINI and even a beta fish for a customer on the side of the her vehicle. If you can find someone who knows that they are doing on a computer have them make you up a file and then print it out and apply it. If you need help getting more info I can point you in the right direction if the paint thing does not work out - matt@cooperflags.com
