How much does it cost to have your roof flag fitted? (full roof to edges) I dont want to do it myself cos im bound to cock it up! Wheres the best place to get it done? dealer? Car comes start of june, should I just let the dealer do it?

BE VERY VERY SURE that the installer knows what he is doing.
When my cooperflag was installed, it took over five hours, and was not good when finished - in the end I ripped it off. I had to have my roof straightened out - dents put in when the flag was put on, or removed.

I did not pay for the install, but for two guys at five hours, might expect to pay $300-$500?

NOTE: the installer was recommended by cooperflags but was not competent ... try to find someone else who has had it done, so you can check the results.

We completly agree with Ian - know that your installer can do the work before commiting to anything. The stuff the dealers sell is just cut vinyl and is not to hard to install. A local sign or tint place can do it in about an hour.

The Cooper Flag is a bit more difficult for the untrained person. You want to find some one who has installed Large Format Graphics before such as bus, building or other vehicle wraps. They will know how to handle and cut the material. A good installer should take no more than 2 hours for this install from start to finish.

Since Ian's flag was sent out we have made the graphic easier to install along with some other improvements. An average per hour rate for a good installer is $40-$50/hour.

Cheers Russell, sounds good. Do you produce custom flags? I was looking for someone to produce this combination for me: It has a Dark silver cross to match my car, with pure silver edges and a black background. Kinda like the pic below. Also havent decided which roof colour yet, its either DS or black. Does it have to be black to have this flag or is the whole thing covered?

It would be wise to have a black roof for the silver Union jack as this would make it easier to fit and produce
