Offline | MCS Black plastic fender trim and rocker panels Keeping this clean is driving me crazy!! It dries to a dreary gray in the sun. It's streaky, etc. But I hate to become a slave to the Blacking goop to dress them every week. Any ideas, what products are you using? |

Offline | Thanks for you reply, but even better I found my own solution. Quite by accident actually. I was trying some ArmorAll Tire Foam on my tires and the overspray hit my black plastic. (Which is more grey at this point) It worked great I did the rest of the trim with it. I did the tight spots by carefully applying to a cloth first then wiping on. It's held up for two weeks and looks as nice as the day I received it. Cheers 2003 MCS DS/W, Lapis Blue, Roof, Winter, DCS, 17's, many grins. |

Offline | I finally did the black shoe polish, and it looks pretty nice. Seems to hold up in the rain, too. Just to be safe, I used blue painters tape to mask the moldings. |
