Offline | Aero Spoiler Hi all! I really want to get an Aero spoiler for my Mini Cooper as from the pic's ive seen they look great. However i finally managed to get a price to supply, paint and fit one and was quite shooked at the out come. They told me it would cost; £106.38 + VAT for the spoiler £150 + VAT to paint it £6.81 for the adisive strip £168 + VAT to Fit it (Labour) So including VAT im now looking at £506. I know there's been several links regarding the aero spoiler before so this seems too much but im just really interested in what others have been offered and have actually paid for it all to be done so that i can go back to the dealer and try to get a new price. | Nice TTs......... | Cost me €250.00, say £175.00 sterling...........comes painted in White (as mine was) or Black ( I think !), and only takes 30 minutes to glue on. That quotation is a rip off ! Check some of the aero spoiler threads, Damo has fitteed one too, nothing like the cost you are being quoted though ! ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | I had the same misquoted price before I bought mine. I think your dealer is getting confused with the Cooper spoiler which comes unpainted. The aero spoiler is held in stock, prepainted, and costs as near as dammit to £180. I got one last month, supplied within one week and fitted it myself (you need to order the epoxy kit as well @ £8). Pretty easy to fit if you read the instructions beforehand and are relatively competent. I'd hate to pay the BMW labour rate for it to be fitted! Good luck, Andy ![]() Penfold, WAS a Chili Red One Salt, 8 spokes, CD changer, Manual A/C, Alarm, Mudflaps, Clear lights, Chrome pipe, OBC, Aero spoiler, '03 Leather wheel, Aux lights, Whalen shifter..... |

Offline | I bought my areo spoiler of somebody on here and got it sprayed and fitted by my BMW dealer for 135quid, could have probably got it painted and fitted much cheaper but the car was brand new so thought id pay the extra money and make sure it was done right ![]() |
