| Nice TTs......... | Open the bonnet, and press the front of the grille out of its retainer, from inside the engine compartment, then slide towards the front of the car......hey presto ! Then disconnect your repeater, and I assume, fit your new side vents ! ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | Brilliant!! Have had my Cooper for two days and couldnt resist the temptation to fit the clear side repeaters. They look a treat with the Pure Silver paintwork, my 'silver machine' as I now call it. Cheers for the simple instructions.... |

Offline | Rite then.... open your bonnet, Reach in behind the sidegrill, Push the front of the sidegrill (towards the front of the car) out and it should come free, The grill isnt clipped in but press into position! hopefully that helps but im cr&p at explaining. Unless the MCS grills are different but doubt it. |

Offline | Yeah, it hurts on unprotected fingers. I used a small, hard piece of plastic as a cushion and pushed on the front end, but push out, away from the side of the car. After you get it out you will see that the side marker has a small round tab with a ball on the end. The ball pops into a fitting on the fender just like those pop beads little girls used to play with. |

Offline | I had no problem with mine aswell. They literally just push out, could do it with my little finger! The MCS grills must be different then. Are you sure your pushing from the right place? |
