i get paid soon and am thinking of getting that done along with front spots and stripes to my car.

I'v tried to find a picture of a silk green cooper with black roof and white checks but to no avail. Has anyone got or seen a car like this with checks?

I'd be very greatful for a pic. I'm sure you'll agree that the silk green is quite difficult to pick decals for.

Are you sure? Perhaps not if you are asking for pictures before you do it. I have a Liquid Yellow ONE with a a black chequered roof, hardly subtle, but then that goes with the colour. Whenever I see a silk green/black Cooper I always think how classy it looks, and if I could have 2 MINIs that would have been my other choice, however I would leave the decals thing for the Yellow and Red MINIs. IMHO of course.

thats what i thought. i originally asked for dark silver checks but they dont do em officially. that would be better because its not as obvious as white checks.

I was speaking to the garage the other day and told em that the colour of the car dictates what i'm going to do and i would limit it to subtle changes, i.e. chrome side vents, carbon fibre mirror covers and the rest would be internal. i'll prolly stick to that because i dont want to be the guinnea pig on the checks thing.
