Offline | Its a custom made mounting.. most of the car. Hood, wing and body panels were made in house. look for a thread here named Tame this beast .. think its the Von qvick car. he explains about most of the car. Getting the wing itself should be easy enough. just getting some one to fabucate the mounts is the hard part. Thought about doing the same thing many many times even drawn out different types of mounts including a quick clip on mount with no drilling of the stock sheet metal. So it could be added if I did a little AutoX along with a front wing. then removed for street running So every Riced out Honda like my other car doesnt try and race me. Have fun, Be Safe and Keep Motov8n 02 MCS DS/W (Totaled November 02 on Fall Folage Run) 03 MCS DS/W (See my MINI Profie for extensive list of mods) |

Offline | I feel the need to point out, the M3 MINI is rear wheel drive. They converted it when they shoehorned the engine in. Unless you plan on converting yours, I can't see much of a gain in such a huge spoiler, more likely, it'll create a bunch of drag in the process of pushing the back end down and actually slow you down. In any event, If you find a good aftermarket shop you could probably get them to fab the brackets, it just won't be cheap. (Not to mention everyone on here's views of it which you're probably already aware of) Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | If the wing does any kind of work at all, the brackets should be mounted to something pretty firm. I don't think taping it to the roof would work. Unless you want to lose it the first time you go over 40. There's all kinds of stories about wings breaking off and the resulting mayhem. Don't underestimate the downforce those things generate. But it's kinda like putting big wide slicks on the rear. If you get my drift. |
