Offline | Very Excited, new S awaiting transport! Read on owner's lounge, owners complaining of lack of body side molding creating dings. One post mentioned magnetic molding from Roadster Solutions, but who wants to take it on and off the car? Anyone have a permanent solution in the states? Something that can be attached with adhesive or something that can withstand car wash, winter, speed etc and look good? Anyone have Dealer with solution? Don't want my new S all dinged up in a matter of weeks. HELP Please reply with details. Ptapie |

| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | Phew a MINI has been saved! I've also noticed that the side moulding strips on other cars are useless when faced with a MINI door. The shape of our doors mean that on most cars you can touch the metal work before you touch the side strips. So be careful of other peoples cars folks (even if they were silly enough not to buy a MINI ).![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |
