yeah, i'm beginning to realise that, especially since Esso were giving em away in the 60's so i doubt they were ever available to buy.

find out if there are any scooter runs or parts fairs near you. you should be able to pick one up there

i saw three mods on Vespas at a local petrol station and one had a tiger tail on his back aerial. i wanted it instantly. if i find any i'll be sure to post my findings.

I bought a raccoon tail at a flea market (boot sale for UK readers) and put it on my antennae.... looked great but at the first rain storm it shrank considerably, within weeks it went from a long glorious tail to a little stump of fur.

Synthetic might be the way to go....

Then again, roadkill might be a source of parts for create customization....
