I've had 3 qoutes for fitting of bonnet stripes. 2 were local dealers in N London, and Sytner in Leicester. Prices were as follows: £126(!), £158(!!) and £59. I'll be zooming up the M1 to Leicester to have them fitted (and visit Mum at the same time).
How can BMW justify such rip off price differences?

Think about buying and fitting them yourself... You can get them from idle gear.

Also check any local sign shops .. they can make them and install them as well.. over here the ones i have were only $30.00 installed. Of course i got a discount cause it was the first mini he ever done =). On the second Mini i had striped it cost a bit more. $35.23. he had to add tax and cost of the material. =)

I would go with the local vehical graphic shop aswell. Even the cheap stripes are still overpriced.

I was quoted £100 for viper stripes across the whole car including fitting from my local.

I dont know why it costs so much from the dealer but its well ennouying.
