Just got my red MCS with body color roof and sunroof. As far as you know she has black rearview mirrors. Now I think about getting bonnet stripes but can't decide what color. White? Black? Silver? Or maybe checkers?

White - mirrors and roof are not white. I don't think it's gonna look good.

Black - I'm not dying (well... I'm not planning for at least couple decades)

I'm thinking about Silver or Checkers. What do you think? Images anybody?

Silver stripes. I'd also get my mirror covers painted red.

i reckon silver with black stripes down each side - that would look ok - or the other way round

Went past Falmouth Mini in Cornwall last week, they have a Black MCS demonstrator with tints, chili pack and s-lites. It has silver viper stripes and looks amazing, i was very close to ordering one just like it (i know this wasnt about viper stripes but..)

Anywho, the guy i spoke to says they are sticking the JCW kit on it this week, 200bhp or something and they will be selling it in a months time for something like £19k

It really did look good

I wanted the checkerboard stripes but MINI didn't order them. I still remember a BRG '65 Mini Cooper with checkerboard stripes running around East Tennessee when I was in college.

a guy here at work has a pure silver with black viper stripes & window tints. Looks great.

std bonnet stripes have to match the roof & mirrors in my opinion. Checkered stripes would look too fussy.

your right, ive seen a Dark Silver CS with white roof and black stipes, it didnt look bad but it would be my last choice of colour combination.

I dont think you can beat a Red Mini, White roof and white bonnet stripes IMOH.
