Offline | Hi, I was also thinking about lowering, but some people have been giving me a whole list of reasons why I shouldn't :/ Could someone who's dropped their car please give me some advice. How is the ride now, is it really that bumpy? Would you recommend it? Thanks |

Offline | i'd recommend lowering the mini. im on eibach springs (-20mm) the handling is much better, the ride is firmer (which i like, other may not) and the car's stance is vastly improved. down sides are, on bi speed bumps and multistory carparks etc etc you will catch your front bumper, but only a little on the very bottom lip, so i wouldnt worry. fitting cost of springs are high unless (like me) you do it yourself, its fairly easy. want to know anything else? ![]() HATED BY MANY...LOVED BY FEW...RESPECTED BY ALL |

Offline | you shud be fine on them as long as there not massive, an you slow right down. gota coulpe of pics, but im still runnin 15's atm so the difference isnt as noticeable as with bigger wheels: from left to right- after, before, rear side 1, rear side 2 ![]() HATED BY MANY...LOVED BY FEW...RESPECTED BY ALL |

| iPod. Do you? | Yep!! Thing is, I just don't get mechanical stuff. It's not like I'm stupid (I mean, I have a good job that you need to be pretty clever to do, a degree, speak a foreign language) and I'm not clumsy either (I'm pretty good at sport, and play in local leagues) and I can fix computers, programme the video and set up a surround sound system. But stick me in front of a car with a spanner, and it starts quaking! Pete |

| iPod. Do you? | Spare me... it's the kind of thing nightmares are made of! My Dad has just built his own canal boat (installed engine, heating, hydraulics, plumbing, the lot). You would have thought some of his mechanical prowess might have rubbed off, but not a bit of it! Mind you, you should see him with his laptop and mobile trying to get on the Internet. Expletive explosion! Pete |
