Mini Clear rear lights option

Does anyone have a picture of a yellow mini, with clear/white lights from the rear ? Have ordered Mini, but just deciding whether to go for clear lights or not as not sure what they will look like with the Yellow paint.

Alternatively, anyone got the 'clear' projector style lights on yellow ?

Thanks

R

Mini Cooper ordered yada yada yada.....lots o'extra's yada yada....

And if you do order them from BMW (cheapest place I have found) they want £277 to fit em!

Do you mean clear projector lights or white lights ? If you mean the white lights, then I disagree (have a look at ARNO's gallery), but thats probably becuase its a SUBJECTIVE thing, there is no such thing as right or wrong.

I actually prefer the Projector style ones, and they have other advantages and I will get to that in a minute.

The reason BMW charge so much is that they have to fanny around and install a reflector pack, as the WHITE lights obscure the reflectors.

This is one additional reason that I like the projector lights, in that they retain a visible reflector, and the brake light probably wouldnt look out of place left red. I also think they will look better *subjective point* than the white ones, on yellow.

Looked my no likey

I think they look wishy washy on yellow, but they dont look as bad with yelloe/white. I just love the way they red lights look at nite Tinted rear lights would look the best on yellow i think.

Arno's lights are clear

Is the picture you first posted in the dark also of clear lights ( but lit up), normal red/orange lights or "projector" lights ?

Let me know what y'all think. Reading the website, they are not released yet - but are taking orders.

Here's mine, personally I am having second thoughts about them, but I'll see if they grow on me.

the down side.
150 quid for rear lights? WOW, i think i'll wait until someone or indeed myself cracks a lens, then ive got a good excuse But they do look good, but i think the 'standard' clear MINI lenses look better, the projector ones look too much like posey Lexus stylie lights (IMHO)
