I volunteered to help a neighbour with a custom roof flag design that would include a flag of Scotland. But when I checked some internet sites, I found four different colours

called out. So, which of the flags attached is the official one or the preferred one for Scottish citizens?

C1 is the lightest blue
C2 is called sky blue
C3 is called ultramarine blue
C4 is called UN blue

Which one should I use? It's going on a white roof of an IndiBlue Cooper, if it matters.

I am Scottish and I would use the Blue that I like best because they all look good and as long as you are happy then thats all that matters

i remember the Daily REcord did a big survey to see what colour of blue should be used in the St Andrews cross. i think they went for the second darkest. C-4 looks nice to me, but i dont think it makes a difference. Since its your indi blue and white roof, i'd say go for the darker one.

Got to agree with zoooom...

It's yer own choice! whatever you think looks the best in your own opinion...
(mine would be 3 or 4...)
I had the Saltire on my 'real' mini... got them to do it in the same colour that they were doing the Union Jack in... turned out a real nice blue!
(Worst thing was I had to send away down sout for it!!)

heh heh heh... Go figure!

p.s...
finally got my build date...
Week 25... ETA 30th June!

Thanks for the replies. My preference was C2, C4, C3, C1; but I too liked them all. Too bad MINI doesn't yet offer a lighter blue exterior colour than the Indi-Blue.

When I researched on the internet, I found 4 different shades of blue being used in the Scottish saltire. So, I was wondering if there was an official shade called for by parliment, or executive order, in order to guide my choice. I think I'll just go with C2.
