Offline | Hi, Has anyone seen, or have pictures of the new £50 so-called "Top Tint Windscreen" yet? I am very interested to know what colour, the coverage and the shade that they offer as I personally think that the sun-visors in my MINI are next to useless. When you do, can you post them here please? Many thanks ![]() |

Offline | I had one added to my order when they were announced, as mine was to be built just after the 2003 change. I thought that it might help out the tiny sunvisors. To be honest, in retrospect, I think that it is a waste of money, and I would have been better spending the £50 on something else. Have a look in my gallery for pictures. The only upside, is when the screen breaks, as it almost did a couple of weeks ago, Autoglass (or whoever) cannot fit a non BMW/MINI screen as none of the aftermarket companies make them. When Autoglass enquired it would need to be shiped specially from Germany, and would take at least a week. I think the cost to the insurer was going to be fairly horrendous. |

Offline | Cripes! That is a microscopically small border and it's way too light too. Let's hope they increase the tint and depth of it soon else no one would want it. What a shame... ![]() |

Offline | I must agree, I had this added to our MINI to compliment the tinted windows. To be honest if I was ordering again I would leave it out as ok its there and you do see it but I dont think it really does anything. |

Offline | My my, your MC is nice spod. It must have cost an arm-and-a-leg looking at all the bits-and-bobs you have on it. And I must say that the Silver/Black Union Flag looks very nice to boot. I thought that they might look a little too much, but looking at it, it's very subtle and cohesive. Nice stripes too. Rather like my bespoke ones ![]() Maybe look here to see how fashionable and trendy you are... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2981038.stm All the best, |
