Offline | Hi all, I have been thinking this for a while and just wanted to see what ideas people had on this, basically i dislike the plastic arches and wondered if steel arches could be used instead? i've never actually taken the arches off my car so has anyone got a picture with them removed??? the basic look i want is for the arch to be flared just over the tires kind of euro look but on big wheels if that makes sense, I already have 18's fitted and thought it would look cool I have a picture below of the arches that i would like to see on my car (it was the best photo i could find at the time) Any ideas or thoughts on this???? Offline | Why not just paint the arches? I know several people have done it, and since it can match the car, it looks close to being metal. Try a search for painted arches or something similar. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | Hi Stryder, yeah i have already considered painting the arches but it seems quite common now and i thought that i could do something a little more individual. Its all started after seeing so many other cars with steel arches such as vw golfs and that whole euro look idea as i thought it could really suit the mini. Im sure the chrome idea would look pretty cool, especially if you own a black mini!, i will look more into this and see what company's can do this sort of thing, if i find nothing then i will probably just buy the wide arch kit from MHW. |

Offline | If you're going for unique, I think you need wide or chrome, I can't imagine however you end up getting steel ones they'll look much different, and you'll have gone through all that effort without much change. Certainly wide (or wide and chrome!) would be a nice unique touch then. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |
