Just bought myself a set of second hand Coooper S bumpers and looking forward to fitting it onto my One.
Just wanted to know if it goes straight on or does it require modifications?
Bumpers are getting painted yellow next week. Its metallic blue jus now.

My mate just did this with his cooper not so long ago...
Personally I think it looks pretty damn nice!...
And he's put the chrome grille back on now too

P.S....
Don't think that there was any bother, apart from the bottom of the bumper not quite reaching the mounting point at the corner. Tie wraps sort that out tho!

And I think (I may be wrong tho) that you'll have to swap the black trim on the bumpers for the originals on the car...

I'll have to use the original black trim on the rear bumper because i'm keeping the side exit exhaust.
The front should look exactly like the cooper S apart from the bonnet.
People are goin to be so confused!!!
Its a Mini One S!
I'm goin to get my grill painted yellow as well methinks, just to keep up the 'S' theme.
Pics will be posted as soon as the bumpers are on, hopefully in the next few weeks. Cos i'm putting them on myself. I don't trust the monkeys at BMW and also they'll probably get me to assume the position when it comes to labour charges!!!

Mini Cruiser are u the chap with the yellow Mini with painted trim?
It looks good and i'm considering doin this but was wondering how much hassle it is to paint the textured plastic? Does the trim need to come off the car?

Could u send me a few pics of your car for my collection?

My Yellow ONE is all colour coded yes. Wasnt that much hassle to be honest. Well worth it. Yes it does need to come off the car.

I have a cooper s bumper being painted as we speak to go on my chilli red one and im going to fit the aero kit grill as well, going to look well smart, ill post some pics when its done.

I'll not be able to get my bumpers on for another 2 weeks cos my painter friend is goin on holiday!
So u might jus beat me to the finishing post!
R u jus getting the front bumper or both? I'm fitting both.

The only problem is apparenlty the rear bumper trim off the cooper and one wont fit the cooperS bumper so i have read somewhere on here. If your having it colour coded that isnt a problem as u can have it smoothed in and sprayed but if ur not it could be a problem

Loui has got me worried that the rear trim from the one won't fit the 'S' bumper!!!
If it doesn't fit, then i'll make it fit!
It'll look better in yellow cos the colour suites the chunky profile of the Mini!

I'll post pics when my car is finished. Not posting any beforehand. Don't want to spoil the surprise!

As i said its only what i read, i think it was Mini Mucker who said it wouldnt fit to his bumper or something or it may have been the other way round, thinking about it he was trying to put the S valance on an one or cooper bumper and that wouldnt fit, humm strange considering it works the other way round
