I have read some of the threads about power folding mirrors. I know it is a feature found on Minis in the japanese market. Has anyone purchased the parts needed to add this to their car ? I asked the parts manager at my Mini dealer about this, he wasn't too excited about getting me the info. Any help ???

this sounds cool never heard about this till now reminds me of the mercesdes motors like the ml,cl,sl,s and e class motors..

The idea has been banded around before, but I haven't heard of anyone actually doing it yet.

I shouldn't have any problems getting the Japanese domestic market folding mirrors. The trouble would be:

1) Activating the feature. Guess we'd have to find a cooperative dealer.
2) Swapping the mirrors from right to left.
