I recently saw a "flourescent" "neon" Mini hood badge at a vendor somewhere on the web. Now I cannot find it again. Anyone can post the link for that?

When I searched ebay as d.griffiths suggested, the pictures there looked not very good. I am hoping someone else might try them and post here.

I brought mine of the U.S Ebay!!! No problems, took abiut 1week delivery from Hong Kong but arrived fine!!! Not too bright but my pic doesnt seem to show it much!

Interesting, so you did not replace any hood/trunk ornament? Is it bigger than a bonnet ornament? Does the power come from the brake lights?

Found this which might be what you are looking for. Seems that you can use your own PC to create whatever design you want (providing it fits on the transparency), including a MINI logo. You can then power it from your 12V socket in your boot (trunk).

Neon MINI2.com anyone??

Well... The Neon was very hard to picture even with the lights off as I have tinted windows on the rear, (Not very dark only factory) A night people following me have only really seen it cos they know it is there but I dont have it on fully due to law, only usually off the road or when fairly quiet etc...

How I wired it up was it came with a relay, I extended the wires and also wired in a switch. But so I didnt void the warranty I actually wired it up to a large battery out of one of those 1million candle power rechargeable torchs. I mounted this under the seat and then fed the wires up under the seat and around up the window rubber to below the brake light!!! Also the switch is mounted behind the cup holder in the bk by the handbrake!

TOTALLY TEMPORY as no holes drilled and No Warranty void!!! Pretty clever huh?

I have to get a better picture tho!

ALSO HAVE FITTED A JCW EXHAUST !!!
