So, I don't want to spend the arm and a leg for the dealer installed driving lamps, and I'm looking at the Hella FF200 driving lights. They're approximately round, not overly huge, seem to have a decent beam pattern, Hella reputation, etc. Anyone installed these, or other aftermarket driving lights? Was it as simple as a splice into the high beam wire, and installing a switch? I don't want to hack the factory harness too much, but don't want to do a crappy job of it either. Also, I'm assuming from what I've read, that the grille brackets are available separately from the dealer?

i bought a set of the ff200's for my old car but sold them to a friend before i had a chance to install them. nice light output (on his car), some options in mounting, and wiring harness is included. plus they now come in chrome.

ordered them and some other things from www.rallylights.com - there's some good tech info on the site, too.
